About Tasha Goddard, lifestyle illustrator and hand-letterer

I draw a lot of everyday objects, food and am particularly adept at illustrating rooms, so often describe myself as a lifestyle illustrator, but I will rise to the challenge of drawing most things, and love nothing better than sitting down to draw a new topic or theme and finding my own particular way to stylise or depict something.

My style is loose and hand-drawn (though mostly it’s hand-drawn with an iPad or Wacom pen!). There‘s usually a lot of colour, but I’m also comfortable with black and white line drawings. I am particularly experienced in digitally hand-drawn vector (which have the huge benefit of scalability), but am also at home with textures (digitally hand-drawn or analogue).

I have been described as ‘the most organised illustrator‘ and my work has been described as ‘fun‘, ‘whimsical‘, ‘colourful‘ and ‘always makes me smile‘, as well as ‘really showing deep emotions‘.

I am a member of The Association of Illustrators, Illustrators for Hire and Inky Goodness Collective.

Do get in touch if you have a project that would benefit from my illustration style or decorative eye. I am open to commissions, licensing of existing or new work and other collaborations.

A few fun facts about Tasha Goddard

I love to travel, read, cook vegetarian and vegan food, walk around European cities, write – and of course draw (and paint)! I live in a quirky, creative and quite outspoken town (Stroud) in The Cotswolds, with my husband, daughters and cats.

I grew up in a wonderfully creative and curious vegetarian and hippy household and was home educated for a few years. I have lived in Spain and France, but mostly the UK.

I love colour, pattern, maximalism, slightly organised chaos, but am also addicted to spreadsheets and lists.
